More beautiful French music for the iPod! Apparently she is one of the biggest names to have emerged in French music in recent years. I’ve only recently stumbled across her music. I read somewhere that she is frequently compared to Edith Piaf. It is quite an apt comparison, to my untrained ear.
To me ‘Zaz’ adds colour, bits of Paris of the past and France of the present – and manifest artistry and skill – to the beautiful soundtrack of being in this city of endless facets and possibilities!
