Slices of heaven captured in classic, “mythique” French pastries – L’opera, Le Mille-Feuille, Le Saint-Honoré and La religeuse – can be found at “Dalloyau”, a Patisserie Française, par excellence.
This haven of sacred, sweet scrumptious delights – I found out – also has quite a few boutiques spread across the city, most of which also have an accompanying “Salon de Thé’. Apparently Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul and Doha also have their local versions.
For me, 2 Place Edmond Rosand, 75006 Paris, (Metro Luxembourg, Cluny la Sorbonne, Odéon or Saint-Michel) was a good place to start what will be a long, happy relationship with Dalloyau.
