It is not quite clear how it became Wednesday – already! My to do list is still as long as it was on Monday or even longer. What does one do? Listen to Josephine Baker, one of my favourite Parisiennes in the city’s more modern history. (Well, she epitomises all that is fabulous about this city – the progressive mindsets, the deliciousness of the French language even when it comes through slightly mangled by pre-existing accents and oh, the couture, do not forget the couture!)
So, here is a shot in the arm, a dose of Josephine Baker for a Wednesday morning with loads of work to be done.
