église St. Ambroise

Discovered a beautiful sacred space in the 11eme, built in the 19th century. It also has a small garden in front of it that was apparently donated by local residents in appreciation of the Catholic church’s work in providing social aid and welfare assistance. The few stained glass widows are impressive depictions not only of the patron saint but of Saint Augustine and his mother, and St Francis in a similar set of windows. The gothic finesse of its structure is quite remarkable. As a space to catch a few minutes of quiet, St. Ambrose – or Saint Ambroise in french – could not be more ideal!
