Grateful Graduate Project: Reason to Be Grateful 1 of 365

The legendary institution, Shakespeare and Company, is a sanctuary, even for the most ardent English speaking francophile student in Paris. There are days when its walls lined with books ranging from the classics of the English language to curious collections of obscure origin offer a reassuring presence. It is an inviting, intimate space within which to recalibrate and reorient one’s bearings. I am grateful for the unfailing embrace of this small bookshop.
